About 800 native bees species occur in Western Australia, many are endemic, most are solitary and some are stingless, but all are pollinators and non -aggressive. A third of the worlds food production depends on bees , as they pollinate 90% of the worlds foods! With this in minds this is a wonderful gift to celebrate these creatures, crystal covered sparkling bee earrings are a lightweight pair that sparkle from top to bottom. This queen bee has a honey -coloured crystal body and her wings are incrusted with sparkling white and emerald, green crystals. These are a unique and different statement pair. Aromas of peach, wisteria, lime blossom and nectarine. This Chardonnay is complex with good acidity and perfectly balanced after being barrel fermented creating an elegant finishing texture.

In April 2005 the Mondo Nougat Factory – Swan Valley opened to the public. A family that already had much success previously with their craft and talent owning a patisserie situated in the historical centre of Midland in Western Australia, Mondo Patisserie began initially as a producer and retailer of traditional Italian style patisserie including cakes, biscuits, ice creams, petite mignon and traditional Italian specialties. Production of nougat coincided with the Christmas festive season as per various European traditions. It was not until 1997, after finding that there was a very strong demand for traditional honey-based nougat that production was included all year. In 2005 The new factory now provided visitors with a unique insight into the production of Mondo Nougat. With all three sons now involved in the business, Alfonso was able to expand Mondo Nougat to include a casual cafe’ into the retail outlet, re-introducing the many tourists into the wine region of the Swan Valley and the delights of Mondo Nougat.
